About

My approach to Therapy

I specialize in working with adults who have been recently diagnosed, finally recognized, or are wondering if they might have ADHD. Many of my clients are high-achieving, deeply reflective, and often exhausted by cycles of burnout, shame, relational stress, or emotional dysregulation. You may also be navigating co-occurring experiences such as: -Trauma or complex trauma -Anxiety or overwhelm -Relationship issues (with partners, family, or at work) -A major transition that’s stirred up old patterns -Sensory sensitivities or executive functioning struggles My role as a therapist is to build a safe space with you to see yourself more clearly — including the parts you’ve learned to mask, over-function through, or keep out of view to survive. I use a psychodynamic lens to explore the deeper emotional and relational patterns that often begin in early life but show up in present-day symptoms. When helpful, we’ll also integrate practical tools and trauma-informed strategies. I bring over a decade of clinical experience and advanced training in: +Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) +Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) +Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) + Gottman Method Couples Therapy +Mindfulness and Self-Compassion practices My style is warm, playful, and direct. We’ll move at your pace — honoring your goals, your nervous system, and your story. When it supports your goals, I also value coordinated care. I’m happy to collaborate with your broader treatment team — including functional medicine providers, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, or other specialists — to support a more holistic experience of healing. Prior to beginning my career as a therapist, I worked as a licensed social worker in medical, school, and sport based settings with children, adolescents, and adults. My husband of almost 15 years and three school age children keep me honest and open to continued growth in my professional and personal life. I continue to remain active and passionate as an athlete and a competitive youth soccer coach 🌈 Affirming for neurodivergent, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients ➡️ What Happens Next? If you're curious about working together, reach out for a free 15 min consultation or send a message to ask questions. After connecting, we’ll schedule an intake session, explore what’s bringing you in, and co-create a plan for your care — at a pace that feels supportive and doable. You don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll take it one step at a time.
